Shequenta Wray, DVM

Dr. Shequenta Wray is a native of Hampton Roads. She studied at North Carolina State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a minor in Zoology, with University Honors Program recognition. Shortly after completing her undergrad studies, she started her Doctorate at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her veterinary interests include preventive medicine, veterinary public health, general surgery, and dentistry. Dr. Wray has been a veterinarian with Banfield since 2013. Dr. Wray shares her home with a handsome chihuahua mix (Jasper), several fish, and houseplants. Outside of work, she enjoys the nature, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Wray has a special affinity towards chihuahuas, and they know it, but loves all dogs big and small.
